Beavers are semi-aquatic rodents that spend much of their time constructing dams, which create floods that give them access to food and protection. These nocturnal creatures can swim about as fast as the average human can run! They have an amazing sense of smell but, unfortunately, cannot hear or see very well. Beavers do use their teeth to chop down trees, although they enjoy eating the tender branches at the top much more than the rough bark down below!
North American Beaver Sticker

As our animal pals are not square shaped, dimensions are determined by whichever is longest: width or height. Luckily, our North American Beaver's width and height are pretty similar!
